It began when I visited the Saint Louis Art Museum in 2016. I felt an instant connection to the Buddha Statues on display. I felt inspired. My mother asked me to sculpt her one. I haven’t stopped since.
My art is an extension of my soul. I’m inspired by the process of being fully present in the moment and nurturing feelings of peace and connectedness.
The purpose is to create art that brings a calming atmosphere to the room in which it’s displayed. To feel at peace, even for a moment.
